Our mulch, which is 100% recycled, comes from high quality pallets. The pallets are food grade or other clean sources so there are no toxins or impurities that would harm the people, animals or environment. In the process of grinding all wood is screened by trained certified employees to ensure that you get the highest quality product.

We now carry BARK MULCH in bulk. Hardwood mulch, organic compost, TOP SOIL, and horse/animal bedding complete the list of our products. Compost is 100% organic product made from green waste. It is good for amending soil and enriching plant growth. Top Soil is of great quality, pulverized top soil from Illinois
Safety
Here at Mulch Outlet we use Heartland Enriched Colorants which are all water-based rather than solvent based. The colorant is all non-toxic and is safe for children, pets, plants, and shrubs. There are no lead-based pigments in any of the products we offer.
Organic Mulch
Leaves and fine mulch is half composted and can be used as a compost or mulch.
Organic Mulch
This is a finer ground product that has begun to compost, so it is a deeper brown in color. Excellent for use around trees, shrubs, and flower beds. Can be used as a compost it is also an excellent value.

Bark Mulch
Double ground tree bark, contained fines down to powder size particles. Has a very “earthy” fragrance that green thumber’s love. It is neutral brown in color and with occasional racking it will appear as though you just mulched.

Gold Mulch
Bright enough to shout; hey look at this! But enough natural hues to keep things under control. A great substitute for Cypress mulch-while saving Cypress trees to protect our coast and wetlands.
Vivid Red
Deep vibrant hues, that pop! This is no middle of the road mulch, it’s for the bold and puts an exclamation point on your yard!
Chocolate Brown
A medium brown, middle of the spectrum and will go very well with any landscape scheme. It is our most popular color.
Hardwood Brown
Our darkest brown, gives deep contrast yet enough brown to reel it back in.
Triple Black
“It’s just Black” very popular for contrasting your landscape, very rich in appearance. Black makes a statement!
